Before you book
How a visit works
Visits are arranged through schools, colleges, companies and other institutions. Here is the whole process, start to finish.
- 1
Choose a site
Browse the dams, geothermal fields and wind farms open to visitors, and check which days each one receives groups.
- 2
Pick a date
Bookings open 14 days ahead and close 90 days out. Tours run on weekdays, excluding public holidays.
- 3
Submit your request letter
Groups book through an institution. Upload a letter on official letterhead, signed and stamped — it is checked automatically as you upload.
- 4
Wait for approval
A regional coordinator reviews the request and confirms your slot by email. Your date is held while it is being reviewed.
- 5
